Babylon Five Night Before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas on Babylon 5,
Londo had gone back to Centauri Prime.
G'Kar was tucked up, asleep in his bed,
And Lyta was looking through everyone's heads.

The Minbari were praying for peace to all races,
Aligned, non-aligned and all others in space.
The Rangers had put down their weapons that night,
Sure there were no longer shadows to fight.

Sheridan snored, Delenn slept by his side,
Ivanova was cussing cos Marcus had died.
Bester was plotting against Garibaldi,
The market was lit up for Christmas, quite gaudy.

Franklin was perusing some learned treatise,
On Xeno-anatomy and on alien disease.
When in through an air-lock and quite unexpected,
A reindeer-drawn sleigh arrived undetected.

No alarm signals bleeped, not a sensor was triggered,
Just how it got past them, Zack never quite figured.
Through the station crept Santa, with presents for each,
And security systems didn't register a breach.

Some hair-gel for Vir; for G'Kar a new eye -
With X-ray vision to use on the sly;
Ivanova's gift was freedom from angst,
Caused when Marcus had died before she'd said 'Thanks'.

Lenier was a puzzle, what on Minbar could he want?
From his sack Santa gave him enlightenment.
Garibaldi was easy, thought the old guy in red,
And gave him, all gift-wrapped, Psi-Cop Bester's head.

For Franklin, asleep at a screen in Med-Lab,
Santa pulled alien drug samples out of his bag.
And to Sheridan and Delenn who lay fast asleep,
"I give you good health and galactic peace!"

Then with twinkling eyes and his hand on his heart,
Santa's sleigh left the air-lock and sped into the stars.
As he opened the jump gate and the reindeer leapt through,
He cried "Season's Greetings to the Babylon 5 crew!"
