Holiday Mint Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup margarine 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoons mint extract 2 1/4 tablespoons crushed dried mint leaves 2 cups flour extra sugar for coating
Directions:
Mix margarine and sugar thoroughly.
Add salt, mint extract, mint leaves, and flour.
Mix thoroughly.
Chill dough for at least 1 hour.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 F.
Form the dough into 1-inch balls and roll them in sugar.
Press ball with your thumb.
Place on ungreased baking sheets and bake 12 to 15 minutes.
