Holiday Poke Cake
Ingredients:
2 baked 9 inch round cakes, cooled
2 cups boiling water 1 pack Jello - any red flavor 1 pack Lime Jello 1 container whipped topping, thawed
Directions:
- Place each layer top side down, in clean 9 inch rounds.
- Pierce each cake in 1/2 inch space.
- Stir one cup of boiling water into each jello flavor in separate bowls and stir for 2 minutes until dissolved.
- Carefully pour red jello on first cake and lime jello over second cake.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours.
- Dip each cake pan in warm water for 10 seconds and them release it on clean plate.
- Put a layer of whipped topping on first cake then set on top of first cake the second layer and use remaining whipped topping.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
