Sugar Cookies
Ingredients:
3 1/4 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter 1 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 tablespoon milk
Directions:
- Mix flour, baking soda and salt.
- Beat in butter in a medium size bowl with flour mixture until creamy.
- Gradually blend in sugar.
- Add one egg, beating it in, then the other.
- Blend in vanilla.
- Add flour mixture and blend with milk.
- Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
- Roll dough out in 1/8 inch thickness on lightly floured surface.
- Cut with floured cookie cutters, sprinkle with granulated sugar or colored sugar.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 400* for 5-8 minutes or until cooked.
- Decorate if you want.
