Concerns About Using Dwarfnet Special Greetings

I can't believe this is a Free Service ! When will you start charging me?

Never ! There will never be any cost involved with sending or receiving a Dwarfnet Multimedia Special Greeting.

Do I need to register in order to use Dwarfnet Special Greeting service?

Nope, we do not require that visitors register in order to send or receive a Special Greeting. In fact, we don't even have a place to register.

Do you sell email addresses, or give them away to spammers or send spam yourself?

No ! We take our visitors privacy seriously. We will never sell or give out your email address to anyone. We strongly disapprove of spamming and you will never receive any junk email as a result of using our service.

Are you able to track the sender of a threatening anonymous Special Greeting?

Although most people use our Special Greeting service for sending proper greetings, there are occasionally some people that choose to use our Special Greetings to send a threatening message to their enemy. Of course, they always use a fake name and email address on those Special Greetings. We do log the Special Greeting time and Pick-Up code as well as the senders IP. So if the culprit's Internet Service Provider is co-operative, (and they usually are) this data can be used to find out the real identity and proper measures are taken against this individual.

What about computer viruses or JavaScript bombs from using Dwarfnet Special Greeting service?

No need to worry about that. Our program eliminates possibly malicious code from a Special Greeting before it is saved on our server. So no-one is able to annoy you with a JavaScript bomb in a Dwarfnet Special Greeting. Computer viruses cannot be transmitted with a Special Greeting, because we do not transmit executable binaries to your computer. There is no way you will get a virus with the use of our service.

Sometimes your site is way to slow. Is there any way you can make it faster?

Sorry, you are suffering from World Wide Wait (slow 'net traffic). This will usually occur during peak Special Greeting seasons (Christmas, Valentines Day etc). A good suggestion - never wait until the last minute to try to send out a Special Greeting.

Help -- I can't get to your website.

It is possible we might be having trouble with our server, or you may be experiencing problems with your Internet Service Provider. Please try again later.
